...a journey, not a destination...
... for a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin, real life.
But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid.
At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.
So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one.

Pour un ami français....
La felicità è un viaggio non una destinazione.
Per lungo tempo ho avuto l'impressione che la vita stesse per iniziare, la vera vita.
Ma c'era sempre qualche ostacolo sulla via, qualcosa attraverso cui passare prima, qualche affare non portato a termine, ancora del tempo da attendere per essere servito, un debito da pagare.
Alla fine ho pensato che questi ostacoli erano la mia vita.
Questa prospettiva mi ha aiutato a vedere che non c'è una via per la felicità. La felicità stessa è la via, il modo. Perciò apprezza ogni momento che hai e ricorda che il tempo non aspetta nessuno.
